What languages can you take your driving test in?

If you are studying for your driver licence and English is your second language you can download learning materials in different languages.

Road users handbook

You can download the handbook in:

  • English
  • Arabic
  • Chinese
  • Croatian
  • Greek
  • Korean
  • Japanese
  • Serbian
  • Spanish
  • Turkish
  • Vietnamese

The motorcycle and heavy vehicle handbooks are only available in English.

The driver knowledge test question banks are only available in English, although you can practice using the above languages on this page, except in Japanese.

If you want to take your driver knowledge test in one of these languages then you must call 13 22 13.

Drivers with literacy issues can listen to an audio recording of each question and the answer options.
