ABS warning light

The ABS, or anti-lock braking system, helps prevent wheel lockup during sudden stops, ensuring the driver has maximum control over the vehicle. Therefore, paying attention to the ABS warning light on the dash is essential. If this light comes on, it indicates a problem with the braking system, and the vehicle will not be able to brake as effectively. Sometimes, the light may come on due to a simple problem, such as a faulty sensor, worn hydraulic pump, or low fluid reservoir.

Low fuel level warning light

This light typically comes on when the fuel tank is low and needs to be refilled. Sometimes it may come on even if there’s still plenty of fuel left in the tank; this usually happens when the sensor that measures the fuel level is dirty or damaged. If you see this light, it’s a good idea to stop and refuel as soon as possible. Ignoring it could lead to running out of gas and being stranded on the side of the road.

Charging system warning light

The charging system warning light comes on when there is a problem with the charging system which returns power to the battery. A loose or damaged battery cable is the most common cause of the light coming on. If the light comes on, be sure to have the system checked by a qualified technician as soon as possible. Other potential causes of the light coming on include a faulty alternator or voltage regulator. A qualified technician can diagnose and repair the problem quickly and efficiently.

SRS warning light

This light shows there is a problem with the airbag system. Without this safety feature, it isn’t possible to deploy the airbags in the event of a collision. If this light is on, it’s time to correct the problem immediately by taking it to the dealer or a qualified technician. Some of the issues can be as simple as a loose connection. However, in other cases, it may be a more severe issue that requires replacement parts.
